Mesa Verde National ParkMesa Verde National Park makes a great day-trip from Durango. During the summer months, it can get pretty hot so make sure to pack extra water and sunscreen.
Fudge For TroopsWe are teaming up with Blue Star Moms for our annual Fudge For Troops campaign. For every 1 pound of fudge you purchase during the month of July, we will donate 1 pound of fudge to our troops overseas in December. Last year, we donated over 770 pounds! We are hoping to donate at least 800 pounds this year so make sure to purchase your fudge today. And remember, our creamy, delicious fudge does not melt; making it the perfect summer gift! You may also call the store directly and have the fudge shipped to your home. 970-259-1408
Summer SeasonWell, after a very slow start, summer has finally arrived! Besides visiting our store, Durango has plenty to offer any visitor. From riding the historic train, hiking and biking, whitewater rafting and tubing to walking along the river trail and eating at one of the many delicious restaurants in town. Remember, we are open until 10pm all summer long for a delicious treat after dinner or before the movies. Also, don't forget our chocolates make delicious thank you gifts for those watching your pets and house while you are on vacation. Ask us about our non-melting items that travel well.
Tours of the FactoryWe sincerely apologize that we no longer offer tours of our factory. Please make sure to visit our store on historic Main Street. You might be able to watch us making fudge, caramel apples or dipping strawberries. Also, make sure to ask for a sample while you are down there.
